About the race

The Arctic Triple – Lofoten Skimo is the truly arctic race in The Arctic Triple and it will take place every year in week 11. It’s a ski mountaineering race offering one extreme (4000+) and one normal distance (1000+). The tracks go from A to B with finish at Svolvær square, passing over several mountains. The athletes walk up the mountains and then ski down. The final part into the city center is by foot, and the athletes can change to running shoes after the final descent.
