About the Race

Lofoten Triathlon 2025 is an extraordinary multisport event set against the breathtaking backdrop of Norway’s iconic Lofoten Islands. As part of The Arctic Triple series, this triathlon combines raw natural beauty with extreme endurance challenges, offering athletes a once-in-a-lifetime racing experience above the Arctic Circle.

Participants can choose from a range of demanding distances: the legendary Extreme, the formidable Half Extreme or the fast-paced Olympic+.

From icy fjords and rugged coastlines to sharp mountain passes and Arctic villages, the Lofoten Triathlon takes athletes on a spectacular journey through varied and unforgiving terrain. All courses finish in the vibrant town of Svolvær, where a buzzing finish-line atmosphere awaits.

Held annually during week 33, the event is meticulously marked and supported, with strategically located aid stations ensuring participants stay strong and safe throughout the race.
