About the race

Lofoten Ultra-Trail 2025 is a spectacular trail-running event set in the iconic landscapes of Norway's stunning Lofoten Islands—the second of three events in The Arctic Triple. Athletes can choose between several challenging and exhilarating distances, with the flagship distance 100 Miles, but also 50 Miles, 48 km, 24 km and 12 km. For the the real adventure seeking athletes you can attend an exciting Stage-Run format, offering athletes a unique multi-day experience to fully embrace the rugged beauty of Lofoten.

Participants navigate through a diverse and breathtaking terrain, from pristine beaches and steep mountain ridges to tranquil fjords and fishing villages. All races converge in the lively town of Svolvær, delivering an unforgettable finish-line atmosphere in the heart of the Arctic.

Scheduled annually during week 22, just as the midnight sun begins to illuminate the Arctic skies, the event is fully marked and supported, featuring strategically placed aid stations to keep runners fueled and motivated.
