GENERAL INFORMATION
The Arctic Triple – Lofoten Swimrun is a stunning race among the islands and mountains of Lofoten. Choose between the full 25km race starting next to Gimsøy Bridge or a shorter 15km race starting on the epic Rørvika Beach.
The next edition of Lofoten Swimrun will take place in week 33, 13. August 2025:
DO THE WHOLE TRIPLE?
Many are eager to do all three races – to get an official result you have to complete them all in 12 months.
GOLD = Lofoten Skimo 4000 + Lofoten Ultra-Trail 100 Miles + Lofoten Triathlon Extreme (all extreme distances)
SILVER = Lofoten Skimo 4000 + Lofoten Ultra-Trail 50 Miles + Lofoten Triathlon Extreme / Half Extreme
BRONZE = all other combinations (except triple combinations including Ultra-Trail 12 km)
All races in The Arctic Triple are fully supported and marked – external support only allowed in some points, see race manual.

A swimrun is a multiple-stage competition which involves participants running and swimming over a race course that involves multiple swim and run stages. Typically participants do not change clothing in transitions as in other multi-sports such as triathlon. All equipment used by participants has to be carried all the way to the finish line.
