Who does what

Swim1.5 km Svolvær harbour · water start, one triangle in the harbour · full wetsuit mandatory · cut-off 75 minutes Leg 1
Bike45 km Svolvær → Laupstad → Svolvær · out and back on the E10 · cut-off 4.5 hours after the start Leg 2
Run12 km Over Tjeldbergtinden · one loop over the town mountain (367 m) and back to the fish-rack finish · the whole team is done within 6.5 hours Leg 3

Handovers on the square

Every handover happens in the T1/T2 area on Svolvær square. The time chip and the GPS tracker go to the next athlete, and the tracker is worn on the bike and the run.

Fully supported

As in every Lofoten Triathlon distance, the crew does all the support. No outside help on the course, which keeps the roads quiet and the race fair.

Questions and answers

When is the team relay in 2027?

On 21 August 2027, the Saturday of Lofoten Triathlon week, with the start at 10:00 together with the Olympic+.

How does it work?

One person swims 1.5 km, one bikes 45 km and one runs 12 km over Tjeldbergtinden. Handovers are on Svolvær square, and the whole team has to be done within 6.5 hours.

How many teams can enter?

Up to 25 teams.

What does it cost?

Prices change with the registration window, so the current ones are on the registration page. Results and course records are on live.thearctictriple.no.
