The Triple

Three races, three seasons, one archipelago. Finish all three within 12 months and you have done the Triple. Sign up for all three at once and you get 10% off the standard prices, or enter the races one by one. Either way, we keep count.

The three awards

What counts
as what

Which award you get depends on the distances you choose. Same three races, different weight.

Gold

Skimo 4000+ · Ultra-Trail 100 Miles · Triathlon Extreme
The longest version of all three. Around 32 km with 4 000 vertical metres on skis, 165 km on foot across the whole island chain, and 227 km of swim, bike and run.

Silver

Skimo 4000+ · Ultra-Trail 50 Miles · Triathlon Extreme
The full skimo and the full triathlon, with the 88 km ultra instead of the 100 miles.

Bronze

Any other combination of the three races
Pick the distances that suit you. The only requirement is that the Ultra-Trail distance is 24 km or longer, so the 12 km does not qualify.

The jacket

You cannot buy it
You can only earn it

Everyone who completes the Triple is awarded a jacket from our main partner Klättermusen, in gold, silver or bronze depending on the combination. It is not for sale anywhere, and the only way to get one is to cross all three finish lines inside 12 months.

You also get your name on the Lofoten Wall of Fame, alongside everyone who has done it since 2017.

How it works

Sign up for the Triple, or race by race. At register.thearctictriple.no, tick The Triple and choose your three distances to get 10% off the standard prices. You can also enter each race on its own, and it still counts.

Finish all three inside 12 months. The clock runs from your first finish line to your last, in any order you like.

Run them yourself. Relay results do not count towards the Triple. Every race has to be completed individually.

We keep the count. When your third race is done we get in touch about the jacket and the Wall of Fame.
